our declared aim was to give a feeling on how to build a tunnel on one hand and to explain this major construction project in its full complexity on the other. to this, we developed the exhibitions corporate-design and the production of the elements. the design reflects the local conditions in a very reduced form: structural contour lines / route features / maps. the curving of the steles, inspired by the walls of the tunnel, are cited in the graphic language and an additional font, primarily used for infographics. the single topics are differentiated by colours and also sometimes completed by interactive installations or original material. the space for varying special exhibitions is also seperated by materiality and visuality from the remaining part of the exhibition.
